Drobo B1200i comes with a removable, hot-swappable fan unit, containing eight fans already assembled. Having a spare fan unit on hand is highly recommended in case a fan fails. You can purchase the fan unit as a field replaceable part or as part of the B1200i. A fan unit is included in a Spares Kit, which also includes a power supply, controller card, expander card, and one 2TB NL-SAS drive.
